The Dental Health Directory and Ask The Dentist forum is a resource for persons looking for answers and resources related to general dentistry questions that they haven't been able to find.

User demand of this FAQ library has promoted the status of the Dental Health Library to being the Largest Dental FAQ repository on the internet. The size is approaching the equivalent of a 2600 page book covering over 140 diagnosis, treatment and oral health issues. The topic list continues to grow.

A new Video section is now available, that provides live or animated demonstrations of popular restorative and reconstructive procedures, including oral surgery and periodontal procedures.

The Bad Teeth Gallery is a picture oriented directory that provides a means for learning about dental need based on what teeth or existing dentition look like. Consumers can learn more about diagnostic terms and possible treatment options if they are not sure of terminology used to describe their current condition.

Consumer Alert:

ALL of the responses and ALL of the dental articles appearing on this site were prepared, authored and/or edited by licensed dentistry professionals.

It has come to our attention that portions of our copyrighted material are being copied and used by various dental directories, portal websites, insurance companies and other dental websites, including individual dental practices.

Consumers should be vigilant in verifying the source of any professional discussion about dental care and treatment descriptions. It is suspected that many sources of apparent reputability... are not.

Our editors, including the doctors themselves, have already caught a popular dental directory plagiarizing our material, promoting the appearance their website was "authoring" original material. Universities and colleges also index the content on this site to assure plagiarism is not occuring within their respective student populations.

Consumers are invited to contact our Editor if additional information is needed or to report suspicious use of the pictures or photo sequences used on the website and material written by our contributing editors.
